Prior to joining Trend I worked for mid-size company called Synapsys Solutions as Applications and Projects Engineer. Synapsys are specialising in BMS integration and energy management solutions. In that role I was doing all sorts of things from onsite commissioning, writing new drivers, technical support and customer training to surveys and solution research.

C# – Trend System Analyzer – Windows application to collect data from Trend BMS system – Learns Trend network and collects data from controllers on selected LANs. Outputs Excel document – 1 tab per controller. The data collected includes details of Address Module, Time, Sensors, Knobs, Digital Inputs, Switches, Drivers, ICComms and Time Zones. Application will check for updates on start-up.

Trend TCL (Trend XNC custom language) – Developed various IQ3XNC and IQ4XNC drivers connecting to AC systems, fire panels, chillers, boilers, industrial PLCs, etc.
